Position Summary

SPF Energy Inc. supplies and distributes refined petroleum products throughout North Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, South Dakota and Wyoming.

Reporting to the Senior Branch Manager, the Yard Services Attendant will be responsible for providing hands on activities as they pertain to yard operations. These services include a wide range of tasks including maintenance, product delivery, occasional data entry, card lock maintenance, etc. with a focus on customer service. This position functions in a highly customer focused environment and all candidates are expected to perform their job duties in a professional manner and adhere to our company values. Some weekend work and/or on-call are required to ensure our customers are serviced in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with fuel and propane billings
  • Answer customer inquiries over the phone and in person
  • Reconcile accounts and investigate payment or inventory variances
  • Repair propane evaporators to insure they are field ready
  • Set up tanks and equipment in field as required
  • Complete service calls as required
  • Assist with yard and bulk plant duties as required

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Class 5 or 3 Driver’s License with air endorsement (preference given to those with a class 3 Driver’s License)
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to adapt to changing environment
  • WHMIS & TDG training an asset
  • Flexibility to work on call on a rotational basis
